i can only imagine the issue happens in one of those tools:

- browser
- unzip program
- ftp program

I just tested it with IE9, Firefox, and Google Chrome. Got the same issue with all 3 so it's not the browser. And I don't see how the FTP can be an issue honestly....

you can transfer the files in binary mode or ascii mode - that can make the difference

I give up. I have re-uploaded the files using several different ftp programs, even tried on a Mac. Same issue, not sure what could be causing this...
