First of all, do Not copy the content of a whole file to the Forums
Second: i'm sorry, 0.6 is Not supporting UTF-8. We changed that for 0.7 which is fully Running in UTF-8. For 0.6 we cannot do anything.

To clear that one up.

We have two branches of EQdkp Plus.

The current stable build ist 0.6x, which uses latin-1/iso charsets. With that build it is not possible to include unicode characters, which you need to use your czech characters. The utf8 en-/decoding function is not your problem, but the character set which the EQdkp Plus is based on. So, if you want to fix that problem you need to modifiy the whole system (markups and database) to reflect your needed charset.

The other branch is our alpha build of the 0.7x versions. This is currently not open to public, but supports full unicode characters which can display your localized characters. After the release of this version you won't have any problems.

Again: If you want to chance the current stables character set, you need to modifiy the database structure and the html components. The utf8 encoding / decoding is needed either way.

Yes i know :) I have all my web in utf8_czech_ci now :) but the page comments.class.php is my problem :) because comments are the ones which do not supports czech charactes because of using utf_encode function in code :) So i have asked if someone could rewrite this source, icludided in code up but without using function utf_encode, because my known and skill about php is not at that high level :) I hope i wrote that understandly :D

no. i think you do not understand.

you have to edit EVERY single file of eqdkp+, as every file is converted in ISO. and if you've edited all files, there are other parts not working.

conclusion:
we spent more than 100h of work converting it into UTF for the 0.7 release, believe me, there is absolutely no way to support utf in .6. you'll have to wait. rewrite of the class you postet will not work!
