not possible!!! The timezone feature is working. it might be a bit buggy, but if you change the server timezone the time __must__ change!
1. unisnatll and reinstall raidplan
2. set timezone in the admin settings to -6
3. set timezone in your settings to +1
4. add a raid
--> should work now. if not, change the timezone in step 2 to another value & delte the added raid & add a new one.

Is there a way of doing that that doesn't delete my settings and raids?

If not then I will have to throw up a test environment as I didn't bother transferring it across yet. Assuming that works properly the I need to look at what I have broken in the live server - hmmm...

The whole thing seemed odd to me as we have been using it across multiple timezones for a while without a problem. I really assumed that I had missed a setting somewhere.

no idea. its the idea to flush the data, cause something is borked there. and: a wrong raidtime will stay wrong, ypu HAVE to insert all raids again.

I installed a clean test system and it's doing the same thing :( Whatever I set the server timezone as the raids are being put in 6 hours ahead of the time I select in the add raid dialog.

The other oddity seems to be that every time I load the RP settings page in the Admin Panel the server TZ shows as GMT even when I check that it is -6 in the database.

Sorry to be a nuisance, but I do like to try to get to the bottom of these things :)

*edit* - sorry I should have said that I can, of course, give you full access to the test system if you want to have a look. Oh and I completely understand if you are too busy with 0.7 to spend time digging into the old TZ handling :)

if you can wait till 0.7 is released it'll be ok for me. if not, send me a pm with the login data. i'll see what i can do. but it might take a while.

That’s a tough one to answer without knowing when 0.7 will appear ;) I suspect we can manage though :)

Getting this as well - got 2 installs (one an old install updated, the other a brand new install), both with the same timezone setup (GMT) yet one is constantly 6 hours out (which is the brand new install).

The one that is correct logs everything as GMT but the one that is wrong logs everything as CST - I've gone through everything and both have the same settings for timezones.

Double checking the installs (especially config.php) the one I have working fine had

Code:
putenv("TZ=Europe/London");

so I've put that in the ToR one that wasn't working and it's fine now...
