Update manual
Download the applicable download package and unzip it to your hard-drive. Make a complete backup of your eqdkp folder and your database. Then copy all files from the EQdkp folder to the root folder of your EQdkp. Do not forget to grant write rights to the folder /data (chmod777).
Important: EQdkp-Plus does not work fully functional with servers running on safe-mode and Mysql databases running on strict-mode. Please contact your administrator or webhoster in this case.

Installation manuel
Unzip the package to your hard-drive and load the content of the EQdkp-folder to a folder in your webserver. Create an empty config.php with a text editor like Notepad and copy this to the same folder. Grant write permission to the folders /date, /templates/cache and to the file config.php (chmod777).
After that you access the folder on your webserver in which you copied the EQdkp.

Rule 1:
Provide all necessary information about your system and EQDKP-Plus. Without this information you will not receive any support.

First of all you should edit your board profile: ucp.php?i=profile&mode=profile_info
Please provide the last 3 fields, so we can access the important information whenever needed.

You may provide this information in your board signature. This will save us some time and research.

Most important are:

EQDKP-Plus version
PHP and mySQL version
installed web server (Apache / IIS / lighttpd).

A simple link to a phpinfo() file will ease getting those information. We have attached such a file. Download, decompress, upload the file to your webspace and post a link.

Please ensure that you provide access and clear screenshots of diplay and calculation problems. Nothing is more depressing than asking people to open their sites or support us with delivering data. If you need support in such situations, create a testuser and send us the login information after being asked for.

If you need support for plug-ins, mods or templates, you need to provide the used version.
We expect you to use the latest version linked in the download section or the corresponding topic.

I have done several fresh installs and I still can't log in as admin.... I enter my username and pass, it accepts it but its like it's not retaining the fact that I logged in.

Also found the following in my error log:

Make sure that your config.php contains the following:
$dbtype = 'mysql';

It's got that.

If he does not accept your login: create a new md5-hash of an easy password and replace the old one it in your database, table "eqdkp_users". Also make sure that you use "Desy" with a capital D.

It's not working, neither is password recovery... Well it does but I get the same error, logs in and accepts the pass word but doesn't actually give me any options as if I was logged in.

Have you cookies enabled? Go to your database, eqdkp_config-Table and tell me, what cookie-Settings are inserted.

I also just tried a fresh install on the same server but with a remote SQL DB and it's up but still has the same issue with staying logged in...

Try cookie-Domain .animosity-guild.net
Otherwise I have no idea what's wrong.
