EQdkp-Plus - DKP System - Raidplaner - Guildportal - Gildenportal - WoW, Lotro, Runes of Magic home of the EQDKP Plus Projekt

Hey.

I've trawled through this forum, and followed all the suggestions etc to add the Mirkwood Boss groups to my Boss Suite.
The file is downloaded into a folder on my pc, and i've uninstalled and re-installed BossSuite countless times.
But still, it wont update!

Help!

What am i missing.. something really stupid i expect :p

I'm not sure what you mean by 'commercial use'.

But I can tell you that Guildhosting is NOT hosting EQDKP. It's an independant site which for which i pay a monthly subscription to you.
Guildhosting simply provided me a service by setting up EQDKP (RaidPlanner) for my kin at the same time they were setting up our kin website. So that our Social website and RaidPlanner site went live at the same time.
They set up a subscription on my behalf with you. I have the admin rights not them.
They added a link to our website for yours.
They did these things on my behalf as a Customer Service.
Nothing more.

Are you saying that if i have a site with you for the RaidPlanner/EQDKP aspect, then i cant have a site with another host for the social aspect, and i cannot put a link in either to point to the other?
I've seen many other lotro kin websites with exactly that set up. A social site with one hoster and the EQDKP site for raidplanning.

The other problem is, that guildhosting removed our advertising, wich is also not allowed.
Or dou you have Advertising on your EQdkp-Plus? No? Do you see the problem?

I didnt fully know or understand what the backround mechanics were when I put the order through for EQDKP.
All I saw was that I would get both sites live at the same time and that a single payment to Guildhosting would be split to cover the subs for both sites.
Not having come directly to your site, I was not aware that either Guildhosting and subsequently I were doing anything wrong.

Ofc I want to keep the site i currently have with you, because my kin members and allied raiders are signed up and we're already using it.
So, how do I go about amending this situation with you, without needing to cancel the current site. Is there a way?

Ofc, I will send a mail to guildhosting requesting your site be removed from my package. Once its removed from Guildhosting would I then be able to re subscribe to it through you directly or would i have to create a new one?

Please understand, for my part, I didnt deliberatly set out to do anything wrong to you.
I simply didnt know or understand the mechanics in this. For that reason, us loosing our current site and having to start again, due to someone elses actions, wouldn't be fair.
Do you see my point?

Given the situation, I request that you remove the EQDKP element from my package immediately.
If i'm lucky, they may allow me to 'take over' the site once its out of Guildhosting.
If not, I will have to set up a new one and get everyone to sign up and restart again.
Additionally, given that i paid for a 3 month package initially, I request the EQDKP element of that payment be refunded to me for the remaining time from its cancellation and that my package be downgraded to 1000MB as i only ordered the 2000MB for the EQDKP element.
I was not aware at point of ordering EQDKP through you, that neither you or i was breaking their licence .
Had i known, I would not have set up through you, I would have gone directly to them.

I have spoken to the guys at Guildhosting, and they are saying that ALL they have done is, set up your program within my site to run. nothing more.
I was mistaken in thinking that a proportion of the sub im paying to them, goes to you. It does not, they do not change any monthly fee in any form for your program.
they are encouraging me strongly to make a donation towards your project in order to remove the adds if thats what i want. And i would happily do that.

Also, they say, they have not altered any programing or other admininastrative items in any way either.

All they did was set up EQDKP Plus on one of my extra databases, as the hosting plan i have with them gives me 3 seperate databases should i need them.
their site is on one datebase, your program is on another seperate database.

You still paid them to set up EQDKP Plus. Hence them making money off of it. AKA commercial use.
