 Post subject: Quotes not displaying properly in News & Comments

Hello,

I keep encountering this problem on various news & comments in EQDKP-plus. The system keeps adding what appears to be an escape character in front of single & double quotes.

For example, I put a comment on a news post with the following

Quote:
testing comment with "s and 's


And after I submit it, it looks like this

Quote:
testing comment with \"s and \'s


Also, when I use " and ' in a news subject line, it comes out like this

Quote:
testing subject with "s and 's


Becomes this when I hit submit:

Quote:
testing subject with \"s and \'s


I have the language set to english everywhere I can find in the admin panel. I have also tried changing the encoding on the browser to other options to see if that fixes it, but nothing works. It seems like the text is just being replaced in the system.

I've noticed this weird issue since 6.4.2 and am currently using 6.4.10 and am still seeing it, so I'm only now looking to fix it.

Thanks and I'll be happy to provide any extra info, but it seems pretty easy to reproduce. I just did a fresh 6.4.10 install and immediately encountered it again.
