dkplp would take forever to parse the log file if you never cleared it out.
What you need to do to make it a smaller file is turn the log on just before the raid, so basically you would have a log file for each day, you would have to rename it to the date or something.
Otherwise you're parsing a file from the day you started playing EQ2 lol...

yes sure, but even if you just have the log from raid-start till raid-end its too big to parse it on a webserver.
if you show the dkplp program to me, i'll see if it's possible to support the import into eqdkp-plus

OK, it does not seem to be developed any more, so it want be possible to directly export to eqdkp-plus.
but maybe its possible to export from the tool as XML and then paste it into raidlogimport.
Could you send me a log from EQ2 please, so i can see wether its possible to get useful information from the tool?

I'll send one from a single raid so it's not a lifetime of eq2 chat with a 40gig file :)

Well just one night and compressed still came out to a 3MB file and PM attach has a 2MB limit. In any case this dkplp skipped all the chat channel talk and even the combat, didn't need the kills. All it looked for was the /whoraid info which gave you class, rank, race, level, name and looked for keywords that could be typed in any chat channel:
example
*Event - eventname - points
*Raid - raidname
*Loot - playername - itemname - points-spent

Then at the end it would show you a list of everything then make the changes to the eqdkp database.
If a players name was in the /whoraid who was not already in the database it would add that players name/rank/class/race all the info you needed was in the /whoraid

I believe the source code for DKPLP was still available to download. If not I think I still have it. I know I wanted to convert it. BTW I used this for EQ2 a few years ago but not with eqdkp-plus.

Yeah the source is still there
