So I'm starting to get used to LiveDKP since I think it's a very convenient option during raids that people can see how their DKP changes during the course of the raid. But a few questions I haven't been able to find myself:

- Is there a more convenient way of updating peoples DKP-changes after they get an item rather than writing /dkp- playername value? I heard someone mentioned an option in CT_RaidTracker, but I haven't found one.
- Does it update peoples DKP automatically if you use zero sum? People have been claiming during raids that they slowly get more DKP even though they haven't bought anything but I can't find an option that I've enabled.

Any general info would also be helpful.

if you are using the proper Raid tracker you can enter the DKP Values not only as "Cost" but also in the comment-field
for example
player Joe gets something worth 80 DKP
when you asign the loot a pop up asks for the costs
after that open the RT and view items and enter as a comment for that item
80 DKP
make sure it is DKP (capitals) not dkp or anything else
in case you use MultiDKP you have to enter the Acount as well
80 DKP 25er
if your account ist "25er"

So, how do I use Livedkp? Using /dkp- [name] # does nothing at all, no error message or anything. Do I have to use CTRT to make this function work or is there something else I have missed. I have tried running it with no other addons installed and it still does not work.

you need GetDKP
and read the readme of it, there ist the proper command somewhere
if you use multiDKP you habe to add the account name in the command as well

Hi Guys,

I dont think its been touched on elsewhere, but I am wondering if any more automation may be possible ?

Consider this:

An item drops. I click the link in the master looter window to generate a tooltip, I am running an add-on that populate the tooltip with a fixed DKP value based on an ilevel calculation (called itemleveldkp).

So step one, after allocation can I prepopulate the tracker window that will pop up with this value ? Of course I may override it (disenchanted items and offspec have no cost) but it would be great to have the value already!

Now for Live DKP:

I now manually type /dkp- playername value poolname

and this almost always delays looting! How complex would it be to take the zone name (Naxxramas (10) or Naxxramas (25) for example from the tracker - could always manually set it early in the run) and use that to look up the pool name (kind of if zone x pick pool A logic) and then have the raid tracker take the value, and the player name and make a suggestion via a pop-up ?

i.e.

Submit -value dkp from playername pool Z - Yes/No ?

It seem logical, and if possible woudl simply require two clicks after loot allocation in most cases!!

Now I guess I am probably talking about a customised add on, but how close might I be able to get with what is out there today ? Is anyone doing anythign similar ?

Yours in Northrend,

Mizpah
