Everquest has increased the the level cap to 90. I have fixed the index.php file in the Everquest game folder so the DB will record to 90. Now when I track a raid, the class ranking for all the members that wer tracked change to unknown. Is the level controlled anywere else?

database. edit the index.php again, increase the game version, and visit the admin center. now you'll get a game update, install it, and you're done.

Hi.

I run an Everquest site that has been using eqdkp for eons.

With the level increase end of last year a couple things had broken. I had read and implemented the simple fix to addraid to adjust the data validation to Level 90 on imports.

But I still have the issue in this thread -- that when it parses people on import it changes all their classes to unknown... assumedly also because of the Level 90 (which is at the front of the text line for each raid entry)

We are running EQdkp 1.3.1 ... and at the moment upgrading to eqdkp plus is not an option.

Is there any patch or change I can make to fix this issues. Slowly all of our L90 members have gone from their valid classes to unknown, which among other things makes analyzing class breakdowns on raids difficult.

Ty for your time

Hello arcani,
becaues you're running the old vanilla one, you should ask for support at http://eqdkp.com/
This is the forum of EQdkp Plus, that thing you don't want to upgrade to ;)

The eqdkp (vanilla) support forums are closed permanently. rip.

I just get nervous at the idea of overwriting the existing eqdkp with eqdkp+. I read through the procedure... and sounds simple enough... but risking somehow losing 8 years of raids and history data et al makes me shaky.

Guess I need to go the route of getting a backup of my current eqdkp up and running, then do experiments of overwriting eqdkp+ over that install.

If you make a backup of your Database and the files on your Webspace, you should be safe.
