EQdkp-Plus - DKP System - Raidplaner - Guildportal - Gildenportal - WoW, Lotro, Runes of Magic home of the EQDKP Plus Projekt

When I first log into wow I don't have an issue. I am able to see all players and their dkp in the display. However, Because there were changes made during a raid in game, I need to update to the Live data at some point for another raid on another day. I try refreshing and using "Ask for Data" button. Thats when it all goes bad and I no longer get any information. The list is blank and I get "GetDKPFu" on fubar. FuBar has never displayed anything but my own dkp information, but after trying to get the data, it only displays "GetDKPFu".

One last thing, I would LOVE to be able to whisper dkp points or have other whisper me to get their dkp points. I read somewhere this is no longer a feature? Or is this another error I am having?

I am using GetDKP 408 and EQDKP Plus 0.6.2.5. Bellow is the error string:

The "Ask for Data"-Button is only for syncing the data ingame with another user. If you don't enter a players name in the box and press "ask for data" it will probably wipe your data.

btw, the ask for data and ingame-syncing stuff is experimental since 3.1, because of the possibility to get disconnected from the game when using this.

If you just use the dkp.exe to update the data from your website and keep your hands off This "ask for data"-button you should be fine.

My question then, if I should be ignoring the "Get data" button, is how do I get the list online to update when the website information has changed? Currently, my list is not the same as what I have online since some members went on a raid and either gained dkp or spent dkp and I was not in that raid. Therefor the live list is not in sync with my website anymore.

Correct. Just use the dkp.exe every time you want to do a raid

I am having a similar problem with getdkp. I can import the data using get.exe from the website to in game. If I have to - or + DKP to a player for either a job well done or being an idiot for standing in stuff until death it will reflect the - or + DKP in game. However I can't seem to get the information in game back up to the eqdkp database and reflect the changes.

My current setup is Vista 64bit. I have not tried to run get.exe in administrator mode yet. Something I will try when I get home. Is there a know problem with this?

From what you guys are saying you are under the assumption that this addon automatically makes changes to your EQDKP site. It does not. Not in any way shape or form.

GetDKP.exe, pulls down a copy of all current data in your EQDKP-Plus site.

Once in the game, you can see everyone's dkp, people can whisper you for their dkp etc etc...

As you progress through raid, clicking Set & Subtract effects the data you imported, but only so far as what you see in WoW. Ie... Bill has 200 pts.. Bill buys Item for 50 pts. Bills points now say 150 instead of 200 in the DKP List in WoW.

At the end of your raid night you then have to post all the data, usually from CTRT and Raid-Log-Import. Adjustments and deficiencies are all made on the website side.
