Mainly my suggestions are around the administrative areas of the site. Most of my time administrating the site is spent updating the roster, IMACD if you will, the seperation of the user accounts and members makes account management double the work. Here are a list of suggestions I would like to see:

* Maybe just make the user required to have at least one "main" character tied to the user account.

* Having some way of mass changes to guild rank status would allow people to be moved to "hidden/former member" status, if you do not update regularly. Deleting people with the existing system when they leave the guild also deletes all the history for loot and attendance. This deletion then ripples across all the DKP stats, Raid attendance numbers, graphs, item history and what not. Moving people to a hidden status is the only way I have found to maintain historical data for raiders past and present.

* Integrated forums that are not framed and support the basics like: photo resizing, photo/screenshot simultaneous upload to post and photo gallery, youtube video attachment. IM, emoticons, font colors are not that necessary. Permission based Guild administrative channels are more important, so type of permission based rank forum level.

*Time based raid attendence, or per attempt based raid attendance with time stamps. Then import DPK based on fight attempts, with DKP given to the winning team.

* Facebook / Twitter login authentication

*Twitter plugin that publishes to @yourguildname or #yourguildname - this would be useful for server notices, raid accouncements, and more proactive then the passive raid calendar.

* Facebook module option for membership, where your guild site becomes a friend or fanpage of your Facebook page. Possibly just moving EQDKP+ and tracking modules to Facebook as addon/applications.

* Ustream, Livestream plugin

* Date time stamps on the guild recruitment views

* Some type of half see through background on the Userlist page, the white text on certain background elements makes it hard to read.

*Iphone/Ipod touch viewing application

* World of Logs or WWS link option field in the create raid form. I know when I have keeping diligent track of raids, I was using the comments field to post WWS or WWL links of the raid stats. This might be better served by a plugin that pulls the top 5 Damage and Healing for the overall raid. Then link out to the full report from there.

*Some Plugin that allows the raid leader to configure a 10 and 25 man grid or "fight page" with existing players and then mark empty slots with PUG class types. Also allow for 1-2 alternates/standbys for each spot. Maybe be able to save a configuration for each fight instance in the raid zone. This type of mod would allow preplanned understanding of the raiding evening, and explanation as to why people are being moved in and out. This would also allow officers to start filling the raid or beginning the raid if the leadership is late or doesn't show up. Maybe include a comments field at the bottom for links to fight training material that the raid leaders wants know, and someway for people to "signoff" that they have read the material. Down the road of development, maybe add known required fight gearing/dps stats and compare those against the known member stats. Offer the results of the comparison in a graphical or RED/GREEN text output/check list.

*Pull guild 1st kills and historical kills (Naxx, and old world info) from someplace like guildOX, Blizzard, or some place else that tracks the historical info. This would make things like Boss tracking mod work better, and with less input.

*Loot Sign Up Addon - an item history type page for each raid encounter that shows known loot and allows people to sign up for loot ahead of time. A loot list of some sort, this would allow Lootmasters to make decisions on who gets what loot easier.

*Some type of "Due for Promotion" alert for guild members that have been members or initiates for a configurable amount of time.

* Guild rules/config page that offers a basic template of conduct rules, loot rules and promotion rules. This would have the configuration fields for officer alerts for the above suggestion.

* Guild Chat log import add on that is searchable. Usefull for resolving the he said she said, and other things.

* A front page Idiot Award for a member, we called ours the "Moon Award" after Stormoon the GM. This is special nomination for people acting up, mouthing off, or just generally being EMO. This might be expanded to Raiding MPV, determined by voting system, or the biggest Raid Liability award (most standing in fire/deaths.)

I have tons more if you want them.

Assigning people to groups for easier admin, like mentioned. Make a member, officer and raidleader rank in addition to admin, so all raidleaders can do everything related to raids, while officers can post news or similar.

Some way of pulling the ingame rank to update the eqdkp rank. Maybe some sort of conversion setup, so rank 1 = gm, rank 2 = officers and so on.

An ability to browse to next/previous raid, when you are looking at the current raid.

More icons for setting up various raids, and giving them special icons.

A newsfeed that pulls from Armory, there is rumors from Blizzard about enabling such a thing for cataclysm, would be nice to have something like that on webpage with guildkills or other big events.

This would be so good as I have taken 2 days now to update 235 members ranks

This might be a stretch but...

I'd like to see "Raids" and "Events" seperated from eachother.
A proper raid is very rarely the same as an event. A real raid usually consists of several events.

I'll use my guild as an example.

An ICC25 raid is just that. One raid. On webpage it shows up as some 10-15ish raids however, cause each event giving DKP is considered a seperate raid:

Timer Event
Timer Event
Timer Event
Boss Kill
Timer Event
Timer Event
Boss Kill
Timer Event
Boss Kill
Timer Event
Bosskill

etc etc etc.

What I would like to see is "Raids" beeing a headline, and then include add these events to the Raid. So instead of seeing 11 raids like above, I see 1 raid, and then when I check more info about that raid, I see it holds 11 events.

Then this could also be seperated on the Raidplanner, so that in the raid list I don't have to have 4 different timer events, 1 decay event, and a million different boss kill events cluttering it all up, when all I want to choose is "Icecrown Citadell".

This would also make even more sense for people not playing WoW, and therefor not using an addon to track their raids.

Hi

Here are my suggestions for the next version:

- Date and 24 hour multilanguage display or configuration => I own a french guild and i dislike the english dates and the 12 hour display in news :o
- Bad player module => Some guys we kicked off the guild have to be shown to prevent them to mess up other guilds
- Easy boss/zone import export for triggers
- moderator ranks and section access for the officers
- registered access menu (Only registered members can access the defined menus in $main_menu1 for example)
- Better guild import through Armory: deleted or left member of the guild still appear in the roster or character manager, so they have to be deleted.
- Paypal donation module
- FAQ module

I thinks it would help every one.

If you need, i can help for french translations!

Hello,

I would like the ability to put a cap on dkp or rather a max amount of dkp a person can acquire. I know driller mentioned it but I wanted to back him up because I could use it too.

The ability to add either plat or gold in the WOW world to an item instead of dkp. Basically we use dkp for items if it's for a main, but if it's for an alt we use plat. Also having a screen were we can see the plat bids and mark them paid would be cool too.

Thanks.

Meybe one session for forum and portal together so we dont need to login 2 times.
Or meybe your own portal module? It should be faster then iframe, n easier to configure. ^^

if you want new games, you should provide the data like classes, races, fractions and sources to the class/race-images, and maybe a Database like armory for wow, because we're not playing most of the games we support...
