Would be really nice if you started to save your time stamps in unix timestamps (gmt based ones)

Would make it a heck of a lot easier to handle the problems when your server is located in a different time zone.

already done. refactored the time class to always store gmt... hope i got all the stupid time issues by doing that.

btw, timezone management shoukd work at the moment. you can test rp5 alpha on a test system and write if its working or not... and if not WHAT is not working.. i have no open bugreports in time issues on rp 4.x at the moment.

I have searched for something that can remove the list of resistances from the raidplanner. When doing a mouseover on them, I don't need to see their resistances, it never affects who I pick for raids.

The ability to rename the signup/status categories people are placed into such as "Raiding" "Reserve" "Not Sure" etc.
The ability to select which status/signup people get put into when they signup
The ability to remove a status/signup category completely
The ability to provide more fine-grain control of security within the planner (so you can assign different roles to different people globally and within each class)
The ability to assign different numbers of reserves to the main raid
The ability to drag and drop people into any signup category would be great rather than hitting the + and - multiple times ;)
The ability to have single raid with multiple bosses. Way it's structured in .4 it assumes either each boss is a seperate raid (needing multiple signups) or a raid only has a single boss and as such a single set of raiders. You can cludge it to have multiple signups and then add notes when people change but being able to specify multiple bosses for a single raid would be better.

Cheers

one thing to "drag & Drop". tested it ith a prototype one year ago, it sucks! i'll change it to checkboxes in 5.0, but i'll not add drag & drop support for now!

the rest: we'll see. you can easily rename the "categories" in the language file. i think i won't change that.

more bosses == more than one event? or what do you mean?

Any chance of adding Ajax type functions/methods to the raidplanner ?

The aim would be that you could confirm a person, or move them, without having to wait for a page refresh to see the results!

Example:

I log in, I confirm 18 people. I move 3 into differing roles, I move someone who is in signed, to signed out, and one from not sure to comfirmed (as they phoned me etc etc).

Thats a lot of clicks and page refreshes!

If this could be done on the same page without refreshes that would be great!

Yours in Northrend,

Mizpah

no. i do not like ajax, and its not need in that case.
i changed the whole thing. the ui is not finished yet, and it'll take a while till it is, but you're able to change more users than before by one click - without ajax....

hope it's clear now... if you've read my previous post, i wrote exactly that i changed that part!

You're seeing the checkboxes in front of members, and the dropdown menu to change them ALL in one click.

you're able to add more than one member with one click... if you select one member od a user, the others get disabled.... thats tricky..

that souktion is simple, clear, and less buggy than ajax features... ajax is nice in some places, but not an overall solution...

ps: these are pictures aof an alpha version, its a prototype, not the final product. there might and will be changes in the class-distribution UI... and other places.

Thanks.

Within Age of Conan its is common to do all the Tier 1 raids in one night. This actually consists of three separate raid bosses in three separate locations. It is quite common for a member to do one of the raid bosses and not the others. This is still viewed as a single raid just with 3 different raid bosses in the same raid.

Currently the only way to actually show this is either to split all three bosses into a separate raid (requiring 3 separate signups) or you have a single "All Tier 1" raid, sign up "too many" for the raid and put notes next to the individuals to note when they're going to leave the raid.

It's not a biggie and to be completely honest I'm not quite sure how you'd represent it, but it was an idea.
