Hey,

My warcraft guild have been using EQDKP-Plus for a year or so now, but recently we have changed how we award DKP from a boss kill system to a time based system.

To help with this, I developed sort of a Time-Clock like application, where I can clock members in and out of the raid/standby as they become available, originaly tried with CTRT and MRT but we have pretty specific rules on how we award Ontime and Attendance bonuses and it ended up easier just to develop our application to do this.

At the end of the raid it generates a report on DKP Earned, Player Adjustments and Loot Assignments - Up till now we have just manually entered this information as a single raid after the raid was finished.

In order to make it somewhat easier to use, I've been trying to update the application to export the raid in EQDKP-Plus XML format so I can use RaidLogImport to speed the process up, I am however having trouble working out how to include the Individual Adjustments in the export.

So if anyone has a EQDKP-Plus XML formatted export which includes player DKP adjustments, or can point me in the direction of where to find one, I would be most grateful.

Its not possible to specify adjustments directly in the xml currently, because i supposed it was not necessary (although it could be nice for some specials, i'll keep it in mind).
But maybe what you want will be possible with 0.7. Could you please give an example scenario?

I'm at work at the moment, so cant supply screenshots of the how it looks in the application, but will do my best to describe what I mean.

Assuming we make a 10 man raid, 12 people sign up for it. 2 of the raiders obviously end up on standby. People on stanby earn the same DKP as those actualy in the raid.

Now say, 3 hours into the raid, someone has to leave - there are replaced by one of the people on standby and the raid goes on for another hour.

So 11 of the people who attended would be on the the maximum amount of DKP earned, but one will have lost an hours worth (30 for us) of DKP.

The way we deal with this currently, is add a single raid into EQDKP-Plus which awards the maximum amount of DKP earned, say 170 in this case. We then add indiviual modifications for the attendees that did not earn the full amount - So in this case one of the raiders would have a -30 modification.

Are the "Deactivate Adjustments?" and "Delimiter between reason and value of an adjustment" options on the settings page not used at the moment then?

"delimiter between reason and value" is only used in the eqdkp / plugin xml-format (you could set a note for each member, which the plugin converted into an adjustment), but i dropped it in the new format (if i remember correctly the feature was merely used).

"Deactivate Adjustments" works, but it disables generation of adjustments: Raidlogimport can handle partial raid-attendance, (in your scenario described above only the people NOT in the raid are the problem, the one leaving would get correct dkp)

For 0.7 (which is in alpha currently) i implemented a fully working standby-feature. Afaik MRT supports standby already, so when we release 0.7 it could be immediatley used.

If you like you can get an invitation to a later alpha (currently we have not everything localized), to test these features.

It seems like adjustments are supported in the XML for the EQDKP-Plus format - after abit of looking through the PHP (I am pretty useless with PHP) I managed to workout what I was looking for.

By adding a
Code:
<note>reason:value</note>

node to the members node it had the desired effect!

I guess you must have copied it form the old EQDKP format and forgotten about it, as you said - it is probably not used very often.

I'd be happy to help with the testing on the next alpha release.

oh well nice that it is possible then, and also nice that you'll join alpha as soon as it becomes available
