Hi guys, I've been looking through getdkp and its integration into eqdkp plus.

It looks like a great system I was curious if it did the things I'm going to ask?

How do I add an item so people can bid on it (for testing etc)

Is there an option to set the value say based off the item level or something like that? I would like a flat rate for all items based off some basic principal.

Also I'd like it so people just bidded and won the item for that fixed rate, people just say bid and the highest wins.

Is any of this possible? and did I miss the doco link somewhere?

Thanks
Chris

Normally the Bet&Win opens if you pick up a loot. I wrote a tool some time ago to test this. So you don't always have to get loot from somewhere just to test B&W. I'll post it here later.

You could set a fixed price for all items within Rule2. Calculations based on ItemLevel are not possible atm.

Rule2 ;-)

thanks syl!

I might look at calculating the price from the item somehow.... rather than the input static amount...

Any chance you can point me to where the code calls for that value?

day job is a coder, c++ though this crazy lua stuff is still work in progress for me :)

The things around B&W are in the GetDKPAdmin.lua. I don't know what exactly what you wanna do, but perhaps you find what you're looking for. Good Look.

update: its just a translation issue with rule 2 being named rule4 in the checkbox tick.

anyways I have another Q about testing.

I would like to test it without having to loot something, now I know this doesn't exist atm, but i will be fine to write something to be able to test it I just need to know where I should be looking.

So where should i look to be able to setup to 'manually' add an item to the /gdb which is able to be bidding on.

thanks
chris

I wrote a little tool to "simulate" a loot for GetDKP some time ago for my own purposes. I named it LootTrigger. I'll append it to this post, feel free to use if you want. Not tested with english wow-client, but should be no Problem.

Syntax:
/lt post <itemlink> [<itemlink> <itemlink> ......]
