EQdkp-Plus - DKP System - Raidplaner - Guildportal - Gildenportal - WoW, Lotro, Runes of Magic home of the EQDKP Plus Projekt

Hello,
I have just made a webpage with the EQDKPlus and the reason I chose this was because I wanted to have a working dkp system where members could check out on the webpage their standings and the recent drops etc.

I have tried using the getdkp addon but for some reason it is not working at all, i can not award people dkp or anything as useful with that, I tried running a fake raid with people in it and then update the getdkp but the standings on the webpage remained the same and it did not record any of the loot.

I would like to get some help in understanding exacly what addons to use for this if not the getdkp works or better yet how to get the getdkp addon to work.

or id like to know if this is at all possible since last update for this webpage script (eqdkplus) was back in november 2009.

Please let me know as this is crutial to me having eqdkplus or not.

November 2009 - we're you living? We released 0.6.4.3 a few days ago...

GetDKP - as the name says - gets the DKP from your EQdkp Plus into WoW. To get Infos Back to EQdkp Plus, you have two possibilities:
- create manually a raid at the raid-management of your EQdkp Plus
- to track your Raid with a Raidtracker like CTRT and then import the String using the EQdkp Plus Plugin "Raidlogimport".

by the way, hit the "changes" button on top of this page. we're in development for 0.7 since more than a year, there are several commits/day. we released two stable versions this year, the last update a few weeks ago..

Thank you for responding so fast, I am just checking out the dates after I downloaded the file from your download section and it says in admin panel that it was the latest update.

so if there is an update id like to download that

as far as the string goes, I do understand the basics of what you said however to convert the string from CTRT as I am using to EQKDP, how do I do that exacly, I have the addon for converting but do not fully understand the process of that.

Would you please guide me through that and ill be really happy

I read the post, thank you. But it is somewhat difficult for me to understand what it requires. I do not use the autoinvite addon.

we use gather the guild and then raid. I am using the latest version of CT-Raidtracker coh getdkp, in addition to that I have the eqdkp_EPGPImport.

Now with those, as I understand it here is the flow....

1. before raid I use getdkp to get the dkp scores from the webpage.
2. during raid we use the CTRT
3. after raid I click the raid, get the dkp string...and then what?

btw in the CTRT which setting do I use, the eqdkp unknown or the addon?

When you have the string, you can insert it with the EQdkp Plus-Plugin "Raidlogimport", as I said in my first post. For correct settings, please use the forum-search, this has been answered many times...

Yeah I tried to follow that but it kept saying there was a string error, im thinking its because in the CTRT I had it set to wrong setting, thank you for taking the time

Here's the process that I use:

1. I sync our DKP values
2. Log in and form the raid.
Our guild policy states that DKP balance does not change during the raid.
If I have 1200 DKP before raid, that's my balance for the night.

3. I use CTRT during the raid to track loot and spent DKP
4. Raid ends so I export the DKP string
5. On the website I go down to the Raid Import, paste in the string, and walk throughnthe next few screens.

You need to make sure that you have the add-on set up right.
You also want to make sure that your boss and zone settings are right.
Two things happen at once.
Raid Import will award timed DKP and boss kills.
The add-on DKP string will deduct the DKP the was spent during the raid.
So once you complete the import, all the DKP values will update too.

6. Re-sync GetDKP and you're done!

If you need to know the settings for the add-on, you'll need to do some forum hopping. In fact I think I know where one is. I no longer use CTRT so I can't tell you the settings. I now use Headcount without any trouble.
