I know this is not supported yet in the current verion of eqdkp, i have tried to search on the forums and found various threads about this, but no real solutions.

we are looking to add a 10% dkp decay each week to maintain a heathly amount of dkp so values do not get to high.

any ideas aside from doing it manually?

There might be a few options

I believe that AADPK by Mortalcoil still works if you update the SQL prefixes and such.
Check last page here: need-decay-system-could-do-it-myself-but-t18529-90.html

There also used to be a plugin that was once called "Taxes", then later just "Decay" by Jedi-Max and edited by Tirdal. Used to reside in that same thread, but does not seem to be around anymore.

I'm using a heavily modified version of that for my EPGP hack. I think I could re-write it easily enough to work with standard DKP as well though, or you could just grab it yourself if you know PHP and have a look, check this thread out to find it:

(Basicly, what you would want to do is to set a value to the adjustments instead, and remove the direct edits of earned and spent)

If you have access to the database you could use sql to update the dkp value once a week.
As my guild doesn't use DKP, i don't know in which table this value is stored.
sql should be

update table_with_dkp_data
set colum_with_dkp_data = (colum_with_dkpdata * 0.9)
