It's been a long day, and my brain hurts, so this might be a stupid question!!

I've installed the update from 0.6.3.5 to 0.6.4.0 which included the new "Bad_Cataclysm" template. I wanted to give this a shot just to see what it looks like, but I can't seem to find it anywhere!! Should it be appearing under 'Styles/Manage' in the Administration menu automatically ... or do I need to physically 'install' it somewhere before it will show up as a selectable Style?

Sorry, it's probably a really stupid question, but I've spent far too much time trying to figure it out!

Cheers, Ori

Go to the admin-page "EQdkp Update", there you can install it...

Yah ... I thought it was in there, but everytime I select 'update' I just get a white webpage, and nothing happens :(

I've tried this on IE and Firefox, and it's the same on both, it doesn't take me anywhere :(

Cheers, Ori

Ahhh, ok ... I've got my host on the case now to try to find out what's stopping it.

Well, my host has looked into it, and their response is as follows .. hopefully they can find a solution: -

"It looks like a table error within the database itself. Unfortunately I'm not too sure how to fix this particular problem as the repair table function hasn't made any difference. If you can leave it with me for now, I will need to check with our System Administrator on Monday as to how this can be sorted."

So I guess I'm stuck until this can be resolved

Just to let you know that this issue is now resolved.

It turned out to be some malicious code (trojan) that had somehow got into my eqdkp files. I deleted them all and re-uploaded fresh copies of every 0.6.4.0 file, and now everything works again :)

The problem I have now is : -

How can I reduce the width of the left menu column (ie. where the 'last fightlogs', 'menu', 'shoutbox' etc modules are)? I had a play around with some settings, and I managed to reduce the width of the column, but the text just got cut off. I need some kind of n00by beginners/idiots guide! :p

It's ok on the main page, but when you go to the "forum" tab, it really doesn't leave much space to display the Forum at all. This is especially true when people start to upload big pictures and screenshots which I am having real problems with. I've tried all sorts of phpBB3 tutorials and fixes, and I just can't seem to get them to either open in a new window, or resize in some way that doesn't send the entire topic off the right-hand side of the screen. Firefox seems to be the only browser that handles this well and resizes images well .... Internet Explorer and Chrome seem to make a total mess of things!!

Here is my site btw - Main logo is missing as I don't have the artwork on this PC at the mo

Thanks, Ori

the width of the portal module columns cannot be changed easily.

you'd need to modify the images for the module boxes and then change some code in the style.css (#cat_right, #cat_left, maincontent_3_cols and #maincontent_2_cols)

That all seems like far too much hard work :D

I really like the style the way it is to be honest. The only reason I wanted to adjust the column widths was purely because it doesn't leave much room for the forum and it all feels a little 'compressed'
