Have almost finished a Rift setup for BossSuite, almost finished is defined as: I'm missing 2 boss graphics and most of the upcomming 10 man raid "Rise of the Phonix", otherwise all raid instances/slivers, bosses, strat links and boss loot tables are in there.

First off, it is pretty simple to build a new setup, good work :) What took the longest, no surprise, was finding and making the graphics, and entering the loot tables :)
Btw. the graphics is mostly screenshots of rift.com, not sure if that matters?

Now the thing I'm strugling with right now is getting raid progress to actually progress. When I add raids manually, the cache updates, but the progress does not.
Still haven't gotten note2link to work right, granted I've only tried it once, as progress in general doesn't happen.
Besides that, I have a 2 bosses that seems to be missing trigger points, their entry seems no different than the others, so a bit confused there.

The one thing I'm thinking is whether I should just uninstall/reinstall BossSuites to clear out any database weirdness. Seeing as I've just continued to upload onto the BossSuite install whenever I added, removed or fixed something, or am I off the rails there?

While I remember, this is the Rift files for BossSuite. Just uncompress into games and it should work.. well besides the issues mentioned above. Granted the above issue might be something local to our guild server.

In the images folder there is a text file with links to where I grabbed images from. Most are from rift publicity shots.
The loot tables are based on the xanadu database, so the names are copied from there.
The strat links are to Zam.

The one thing I could wish for would be to have both strat and loot links in boss progress, if I get time during the week I might just add it to our local guild install. Gives me an excuse to get re-acquainted with php :)

Got the problem fixed, no thanks to the eqdkp-plus team.

Right seeing as you guys don't care for supporting contributors, I see no reason to post any contributions nor fixes I do to our guild install of eqdkp-plus.

We don't care supporting? Well, that's you opinion... EQdkp Plus is a hobby project, that means we're working on this in our free time. You've posted your question 11 days ago. 11 days - if your collegue is on holidays for two weaks, you're flaming him not answering your email? I will see that... So relax and learn patience.
Also, Bosssuite is an plugin, that means it has an specific author, named sz3. But at the moment, his time for EQdkp Plus is very rare, that's why you don't got an answer from him. And only because he's a member of the core-dev-team, this does not mean, that we other devs know how the bossuite works. So please don't generalize your opinion.

And the next thing that I don't like: you see that something is bad, but you won't invest your time offering help to others... give and take... not only taking... Because if everybody is just taking, why should we invest our time and give you EQdkp Plus for free? Think about that.

Just so I understand your "clarification" of why I'm not allowed to complain
after not hearing anything for 11 days, not even a "sorry we are busy right now" post.

So according to your post I deserve a telling off because:
1) I haven't invested any time in helping fixing bugs
2) I haven't contributing to your project
3) I haven't payed any support tax

So the fact that I uploaded a fully working Rift BossSuite add-on, doesn't count as contribution?
Heck I even voulentered to help fix some stuff in BossSuites.
All that doesn't count as "investing time" in your world? I begin to understand the "silence" on the boards.

Did you actually read my posts? or did you just barf on me as a kneejerk reaction on me posting a negative?

Honestly I'm very understanding of this being a hobby project, why do you think I actually waited close to 2 weeks before responding?
But that fact that I heard absolutely nothing for 2 weeks, not a peep. That is indicative of a "dead project", just an FYI there.

Had you just posted a reply saying "you know what, sz3, the guy behind this, he is super busy right now. So might have to wait a while."
That would have been awesome, then I would know that I would have to dig some more into this myself, and we wouldn't have been where we a right now.
Me giving up on a perceived "dead project" and you barfing over me for actually contributing to you project.

Well, if I had seen it, it hadn't say anything. But

Ahh right, I was thinking, why contrib when nothing happens, so yeah removed them from the post.

Anywho would be more than happy to re-add them, but wondering if there is a smarter way than doing a forum upload?
I'm nervous about touching the SVN repository, as I would be concerned that I would break something in your builds if I just threw it in there.

If nothing else I'll repost on the forum when I get home :)

At the moment, attaching it here would be the best. Also, we can put it into our Download-Section. A better Plugin/Module-Management for Contributers is in development.

These are the files, as they take up a bit of space its a multi-file zip archive, with each part zip'ed. The forum doesn't like files that end in .001/.002/.003.

Compared to my first upload there are few spelling bee and gfx fixes, and the fact that this one seems to work on our guild website :)

Have tested that progress happens (both from cache and from raidplanner), different graphics settings work, loot is found correctly and the strat links work as well.

Thanks for your Contribution. I will take a look at the files in a few days, because I'm visiting some friends this weekend.
