I installed eqdkp at the following address

http://www.requiemrift.com/eqdkpplus/

The problem I am having is I am unable to get the bridge to link with my PHPBB3 forum. I have all the settings correct (which I know are case sensitive) but I will post them below (note editing some for security reasons).

Activate bridging to an CMS (checked)

deactivate registering in Eqdkp Plus (checked)

deactivate the user registration (checked)

Group ID of the CMS Group (5,8,9,10)
Note 5 is the default group ID for site admins, 8,9, and 10 were groups I created.

phpBB 3.x supported CMS
phpbb_ Tableprefix of your CMS Installation
Is the CMS/Forum on another Database than Eqdkp ? (checked)

If you use the CMS/Forum on another Database activate this and fill the Fields below

Database Name req1111108113028
Hostname req1111108113028.db.7778134.hostedresource.com
Database User req1111108113028
Database Userpassword (*********)

Note on my phpbb3 forum I verified the casesensitivity of all information by referencing the config.php file directly.

I would like to keep the CMS forum on a different database then the eqdkp plus forum. I have not tried inserting it into my forum database yet because I would like to keep the databases seperate. I think something is broken with the CMS with the latest 3.0.8 PHPBB update. Please advice. I will pm more access information if sent one.

Try localhost for hostname, because your forum is on the same server as your EQdkp.

Before I made the change I got this error...

You have provided an incorrect or invalid username/password

Now I get this message...

CMS Bridge SQL Settings are wrong. CMS-Bridge deactivated. Login with your regular EQDKPlus Admin Login and check your database settings!

It appears that the localhost setting will not work. Any other ideas?

I know I am using a username in the 5 group ID on the bridged CMS and the correct password.
